Kamala in support as Knights legend "Kiwi" Dave evades a defender
With the Grand Final just one day away, there is a buzz in the Knights community, with many old Knights players making their pilgrimage back to the "Castle" to support their team this Saturday night! Confirmed attendees include Craig Wells, Rocco Forgione, Paul Nichols, Dean Walker, Chris Martin, Keelan Walker, Shane Denley, Kazoo Seto, Glenn Treacher, and Greg Nelson to name a few.
Also making an appearance at tomorrow night's Grand Final, fresh off his debut on the "Footy Show" as the older likeness of Wendell Sailor, is Christopher Curtis "Kamala" Clinton. Kamala, always a crowd favorite who was known as a "defensive specialist" during his playing days, was very happy that the Knights were back in the Grand Final. "...It has been a long time mon since we won back in 2002 when I was playing on the team! The team today is good, but not as good as we were!" according to Kamala. "The Knights are a club with a lot of history mon! We play hard and party hard, that's the New York Knights way!"
Look for Kamala and the rest of the New York fans to be partying all night long at the "The Australian" the bar owned by the New York Knights former Captain/Coach Matt Astill, if the Knights do win the championship!
