Meet the Knights at the Frying Pan Tonight! (Fri 6/25)


The New York Knights have the bye this weekend and will be letting their hair down at the Frying Pan in Manhattan tonight (map). The Frying Pan is one of New York's premier summer bars and is a proud sponsor of the Knights. The bar sits on a dock at Pier 66 in Chelsea with stunning views over the Hudson and a relaxing party atmosphere either on the pier or aboard the actual Lightship Frying Pan, a historic ship built in 1929. The Knights will be at the bar from around 6pm and are looking forward to celebrating their early season success.

The Knights have enjoyed two solid practice sessions this week as they begin preparations for their grand final rematch against the Jacksonville Axeman down in Florida. The Axeman remain undefeated this season and face their biggest test this week when they take on the Aston Bulls, also undefeated. Despite not playing this weekend, it will be a very interesting weekend in the AMNRL for the Knights as they learn which other teams are the most likely to threaten their championship.
