Knights appoint Jeremy Kosbob as new Player Development OfficerMay 8, 2007
Yesterday New York Knights CEO Robert Balachandran announced that Jeremy Kosbob had been selected to serve as the Knights' Player Development Officer. "Jeremy is filling an important role for the club, we are excited to have him on board". In his new role, Kosbob will serve as the Knights' primary liaison between the club and new players wishing to join the team.
Kosbob, a recent addition to the Knights, made his mark early by becoming the club's leading try scorer last season! Kosbob also touts his skills off the field and has become one of the Knights' biggest supporters, speaking about the Knights and rugby league to anyone who will listen!
Kosbob plans to focus his efforts on trying to identify and recruit young talented athletes who live and work in New York City, while at the same time recognizing the value of having a good cadre of foreign players in the ranks. Jeremy had this to say about his new role with the club "...by reaching out to local athletes as well as looking for quality players overseas, I expect to help establish the Knights as the premier team in the league while also doing my part to promote the game of rugby league in this country!"
