Our home ground, The Castle, is looking as brilliant as ever and I can't wait to see even more supporters down there this year. We have recriuted a number of new players with a few more announcements on the way. Notable aquisitions so far are former London Bronco Scott Roskell, Adam Sharples from Oldham and Guilluame Cieutat fom France. Personal Trainer Paul Nicholas has joined the Knights coaching staff as conditioner. He will play a crucial role in the Knights regaining our rightful place in the top half of the competition.
Not only will it be an exciting year for the Knights but also for the American National Rugby League with three new teams. We would like to welcome on board teams from New Haven, Boston and Jacksonville. The competition keeps getting stronger each year, congrtaulations to all those involved.
Thanks as always to to our sister club in the big league - the Newcaslte Knights. Steve Crowe and everyone at the organization have always helped us whenever we asked and their interest in us is much appreciated. Congratulations also to a another friend of the club, Brian Smith. The Parramatta coach has been appointed to the Newcastle job in 2007. Coach Smith spend a night with New York players in November giving advice to the coaching staff and players.
We would like also to welcome Paul Adams to the board of the Knights. Paul is currently the manager of Duran Duran and will bring his marketing and promotional skills to the team. The Knights will be "Hungry Like The Wolf" in 2006!
